Photoshop and Adobe versions for next class

Hi Eduardo,
The Dell laptop that I just got came with a Photosho and an Adobe software installed. They are Adobe Photoshop Elements 9, and Adobe Premiere Elements 9. Are these versions good for what we will be doing in this ARC4058 course?

    We are going to be using Adobe Photoshop CS 5 and on. I am unfamiliar with Adobe Elements.
