Problem with elevations scale

when plotting in 1/8 is way too big for the paper. but in 1/16 is too small. I used 3/32. Is that fine?

    it fits in 1/8" scale. look at http://arc4058summer2012.blogspot.com/2012/05/assignment-no-2-plans-elevation-samples.html that i posted. it should fit as in that sample. if it doesn't, check the dimensions in your drawing.
